Actors Allowed To Play Cartoonists

Following up on my last post about how cartoonists should not be portrayed on TV, I hereby submit a short list of actors officially sanctioned by the Falling Rock Committee to play cartoonists in upcoming TV and movie roles. Further, cartoonists shall only be portrayed as being well-adjusted, outgoing, patriotic millionaires.

The Falling Rock Committee will accept further suggestions for actors to play cartoonists.

(This may be cheating, as he has already played a comic book character. But if he were to petition the Falling Rock Committee, he would most likely be accepted.)

I hereby nominate Sean Connery, representing the male sex, and, from the scary gender, French actress/model Laetitia Casta.

Ingrid Bergman from beyond the grave.

I nominate the luminous Keira Knightley for the coolest living cartoonist. If we had the dead, my votes would of course go to Audrey Hepburn and Ingrid Bergman. But in their absence, Keira will do.

Oh, and for a little of the French we can add Audrey Tautou and Eva Green.

Those are some excellent nominations. I think they’d all make convincing cartoonists.

We should start writing a script in which a cartoonist must save the country by drawing funny little pictures.

Music by Bob Dylan and Cat Power.

I’d like to add William Powell and his wife, Myrna Loy. Also from beyond the grave, but the can do great things with CGI these days.

Another good selection. I admit I had to look them up! They would make a great cartooning team.
