Instead of the character bios I had up before, this is an introduction I drew for the comic strip syndicates. You’ll see all their names listed on page 2; I highlighted the syndicate’s name I was sending to as a joke. They know most cartoonists send out submissions to everyone, and in a weird way this was also a way to personalize my packet: I had to hand-highlight the name, so they would know that I took the time to single each name out and make sure I sent it to the right syndicate.
I send out comic submissions all the time, and I’m never happy with the way I explain my own work. So, instead of writing “Ernesto is a large lizard, Carver is a cranky owl…” this time I let my characters speak for themselves.
